The disbandment of 4th-generation K-pop girl group TRI.BE appears increasingly likely following a series of recent developments, even though no official statement has been released by their agency.
Earlier this year, reports surfaced that TR Entertainment, the company managing TRI.BE, was allegedly facing bankruptcy—a revelation that sparked concern within the fandom.
On May 2, fans received another distressing signal: TRI.BE’s Bubble fan messaging platform will be shutting down on May 30.
Since Bubble is often used as a key communication tool between idols and fans, its closure typically hints at significant changes—often tied to contract terminations, label shifts, or group disbandments.
The situation was further intensified by a deeply emotional farewell message from member Hyunbin, who addressed fans on Bubble.
Her words suggested closure and heartbreak, while also expressing deep gratitude for the nearly four years they shared:
“Thank you for creating a scene in the movie-like journey of my life called TRI.BE… I’ll never forget the TRI.BE we made together.”
Hyunbin’s message, filled with warmth, regret, and a promise to return in the future, struck an emotional chord with the fandom.
She also urged fans to attend an upcoming birthday café event, emphasizing that she hopes to say goodbye in person, underscoring the finality of her message.
Fans of TRI.BE, known as TRUE, have responded with sadness and nostalgia, as the group—despite not achieving massive commercial success—was admired for their talent, energy, and unique sound.
