Rising boy group POW has confirmed their highly anticipated return with the release of their third EP, set for June 27, 2025.
The announcement was made on May 13th at midnight KST, with their agency, GRID Entertainment, revealing a teaser poster to build excitement for the upcoming comeback.
The poster, featuring vibrant orange and yellow tones against a lush green backdrop, captures the youthful, high-energy spirit of POW, giving fans a glimpse of the album’s playful and dynamic vibe.
This comeback holds special significance as it marks the first time the group’s leader, Yochi, has taken the reins in producing the entire EP.
His personal touch is reflected in the tracklist, which boasts an array of upbeat and energetic songs.
The visuals and concept for this album are centered around a “POW-teen + European youth culture” theme, perfectly complementing the group’s signature style and exuberant energy.
Though POW has had a break between releases, they have kept busy by staying creatively active.
In February 2025, they dropped the special single “Gimme Love,” which was met with a warm reception both domestically and internationally.
Additionally, the group showcased their versatility by starring in the self-produced web drama “Always Be There,” where they also contributed the original soundtrack.
This demonstrated their multifaceted talents, extending beyond music into acting and video production, which is a rarity among rookie groups.
Even while on hiatus, POW maintained a strong connection with their fans by producing engaging variety content and staying active on various social media platforms.
Despite being from a mid-sized agency, they have steadily gained a loyal fanbase due to their diverse range of talents and consistent engagement.
A representative from GRID Entertainment shared that this upcoming EP is designed to “recharge fans with the same positive energy as the fandom name ‘Power,’” and promised a more mature musical direction and stage performances.
