The song serves as the official theme for Assassination Classroom The Movie: Everyone’s Time, which is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on March 20.

The project marks TOMONARI SORA’s second consecutive musical contribution to the beloved franchise, strengthening his growing creative connection with the series.

Written, composed, and arranged entirely by TOMONARI SORA himself, “Teacher” unfolds as an emotionally rich, piano-driven ballad told from a teacher’s perspective. The track highlights the artist’s signature style, combining delicate storytelling with haunting melodies that resonate deeply with listeners.

“I wrote this song after thoroughly thinking about one of Assassination Classroom’s core themes: human growth,” TOMONARI SORA explained.

“At 23, I’m at an age that sits right between student and teacher, so I felt that now I could express both perspectives. I would be happy if listeners could hear it as if they were reading a letter or a diary.”

Built around a nostalgic piano motif, the track captures fragile emotions and vivid memories tied to the journey of Class 3-E. Through its quiet yet powerful arrangement, “Teacher” reflects on the decade-long story of the class and enhances the emotional core of the upcoming film.
