Peacock’s August 2025 lineup leans into a true summer mix, with big library refreshes on the first of the month and a steady run of weekly originals through the final Thursday. You get a little of everything, from cult horror and 90s comedies to DreamWorks family staples and reality TV that drops right when the group chat needs new drama.
The month opens with a large batch of films on August 1, including comedies like Bridesmaids and Office Space, sci-fi headliners like Edge of Tomorrow and Elysium, and family anchors like the Kung Fu Panda trilogy and the first two Madagascar movies. New arrivals keep rolling after that, with the awards special Last Culturistas Culture Awards 2025 on August 6 and festival favorite Housekeeping for Beginners on August 7.
Peacock originals set the weekly rhythm. Twisted Metal season 2 continues with new episodes on Thursdays, and Love Island: Beyond the Villa pads the same night with fresh entries that build to a late month finale. Daytime fans get a rare one-two, as Days of our Lives closes season 60 on August 22 and turns right around with the season 61 premiere on August 25.

Dev Patel’s Monkey Man lands August 14, animated adventure Night of the Zoopocalypse bows August 22, and M3GAN shuffles in on August 24 with the unrated cut the same day.
