Cha Hak Yeon Talks About His Quirky Role in Oh My Ghost Clients

Cha Hak Yeon (VIXX’s N) opened up about his preparation and excitement for his role in the upcoming MBC comedy-action drama Oh My Ghost Clients, set to premiere on May 30 at 9:50 p.m. KST.

He plays Go Kyun Woo, an eccentric, upbeat video creator who helps a ghost-seeing labor attorney (played by Jung Kyung Ho) tackle workplace injustices.

Cha described the character as “a refreshing sparkling drink” who adds humor to serious themes.

To nail Kyun Woo’s flashy, live-streamer persona, Cha practiced extensively by filming mock broadcasts at home:

“The opening lines were the hardest. I failed a lot at first, but eventually I grew comfortable in front of the camera.”

Cha also highlighted the great chemistry with co-stars Jung Kyung Ho and Seol In Ah, forming the “Moojins” trio onscreen:

“Jung Kyung Ho really led the team well, and Seol In Ah was great at keeping the atmosphere light. I’m grateful to work with them.”

He admitted comedic acting was a challenge, especially balancing humor with depth:

“I started to understand why senior actors say comedy is the hardest.”
